Following a tryout with Empoli FC, Italy the Director of International Academies provided an opportunity to train in Riverside, California with Milan International Soccer Academy, an Empoli FC affiliate. I began training on my second day at La Sierra University under the guidance of MISA Director of coaching whom with his wife provided room and board at his home treating me like one of their own.

Their former president Josh Nash and the family of another MISA player provided countless memories which I shall always treasure.

I would like to send a big hello to the guys who made me feel like one of them from day one, I send them a big hug also because they are fantastic people.

My son has played with Milan International Soccer Academy for the past seven years. It has always felt like family and we were immediately impressed with the level of coaching. Over the years I have really enjoyed watching my son progress into an accomplished soccer player and also a fine young man. I know that Milan has helped him grow in both these areas. MISA is an affordable and competitive soccer club that is not only passionate about soccer, but also cares very much for its players and families. We have been blessed to be a part of their organization and look forward to their continued success.

Soccer was always a huge part of my life. I started out in AYSO as most kids do and quickly realized it was something I wanted to pursue. Coach Giorgio Cerboni who was coaching the 77 Soccer Devils took a chance on me and invited me to play on his club team. As I was raw and still new to the game, he taught us all the most crucial fundamentals of this beautiful game. His passion and dedication was infectious and we all wanted to get better and DID get better under his program.

I remember Coach Giorgio was not like one of the typical coaches who would just tell you what he wanted you to do. He would actually be able to show you what he expected and visually paint a picture so that we would all better understand what was expected from us.

I carried all the fundamentals I learned from the Soccer Devils with me for my entire playing career and know that if it was not for Coach Giorgio and his commitment to excellence that I would not have been able to excel. Some of my fondest life memories are from that Soccer Devil program. Thanks Coach Giorgio

MISA gave my son the joy of soccer back. My 14 year old son left his old club as the atmophere had come to feel like an industrial machine where the boys were unfriendly and it all seemed to be about the money. We approached MISA and their DOC allowed my son to train with his 2006 team even though he was a 2007. Instantly I could see the light and joy of soccer return to my son's playing. The training was extremely high level, but more importantly, the other, highly talented players welcomed my son, a new player, with smiles and encouragement. I cannot stress enough the level of dignity and sportsmanship this club integrates into it's program.
